“Your present circumstances don't determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.”
– Nido Qubein

All change starts with the first step.

Whatever your goal may be – overcoming a challenge, figuring out what you want to do next, or saying yes to your dream – it all starts with the first step.

For over a decade, we’ve helped people take that step and change their personal and professional lives for the better: from Fortune 500 executives, to families facing challenges in schooling or parenting; to individuals struggling with long-standing personal issues, and more.

Wherever you are in your life, whatever your challenge or dream, few choices are as life changing as making the commitment to start moving in the direction of what you really want.

Overview

At the end of the day, what really matters is, Does coaching work?

The short answer is: yes. (The longer answer is below.)

Hank Laurence Coaching & Training has a track record of remarkable success working with a wide range of clients: from kids to Fortune 500 companies. We work with a wide variety of client issues: fears, phobias, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, athletic performance issues, communication challenges, relationship challenges, learning challenges, Peak Performance improvement, health and weight loss, eating habits, executive performance, team dynamics, leadership, creativity and much more.

We believe our unique coaching process is so successful because of how it targets and integrates each of the key aspects of human experience and human performance:

  • Somatic (the body - emotions, stuck behaviors, physical habits)
  • Cognitive (the thoughts, stories, self talk, strategies)
  • Creative (intuition, insight, “aha!” Quantum leaps, inspiration)
  • Relational (developmental, attachment, bonding, both intra-personal and interpersonal)

Perhaps the most unique aspect of our approach is our expertise in accessing and balancing both the conscious and the unconscious processes that drive all of the above areas.

Put simply, if a person could consciously change what was bothering them, they wouldn’t need coaching. People come for coaching when their normal mental and behavioral patterns aren’t working anymore. They need help getting “under the hood” to find what’s blocking them, and these are usually unconscious patterns. That’s where we come in - our specialty is discovering and releasing these patterns and helping clients move to new states of freedom, success and motivation.

Coaching is not a magic pill, however. It is a 50-50 partnership between coach and client and requires commitment and engagement from the client. It takes courage to take an honest look at oneself, but the rewards are worth it.

Coaching may also benefit from the participation of important people in a client’s life – family members, partners/spouses, friends, colleagues, bosses, etc., but that choice is up to the client.

Coaching is built on a relationship of trust. It is a confidential* relationship dedicated to your success.

Coaching

Coaching provides a rare opportunity to have the one on one support of a trusted, objective, expert advisor who can help you:

(1) identify and eliminate old internal stories, limiting thinking, and unproductive habits from you life

and,

(2) start engaging in new behaviors, developing powerful strategies and building consistent motivation to achieve your goals.

EXECUTIVE COACHING

The reality today is that to stay competitive, businesses need to make the most strategic investment in developing their top talent. One on one coaching is a powerful way to help an executive reach their highest potential. Coaching targets their specific challenges and goals, maximizing their growth, and minimizing their down time.

Having the strategic coaching of a Peak Performance expert can make the difference between being good and being extraordinary, between feeling motivated and energized versus burned out and drained.

Executive coaching often involves extensive interviews with team members, reports, supervisors and, when possible, clients. “Shadowing” can also be a highly beneficial component of the coaching process – the coach observes the client in key situations to evaluate performance in real time and give the highest quality feedback.

PERSONAL COACHING

Our clients are often amazed by the effectiveness of the process, achieving remarkable results they hadn’t imagined possible.

We’ve had many clients say, “I didn’t know I could do that” or, “I always thought I’d never change this.” In fact, before coaching with us, many had begun to believe there was something “wrong” with them, or the issue was something that couldn’t be changed.

Happily, it wasn’t true: they just hadn’t found the right process to help them forward. With the right tools and the right guidance and support, even long-standing negative patterns can be changed. Our coaching process has a track record of success in helping people do just that – change their patterns to create what they want.

What is it you would like to change? What would you like to create in your life?

Whatever your goal, whatever your challenge, having the structured, motivating support of an expert in personal transformation can make the difference between frustrating failure and inspiring accomplishment.
